SSSQ Celebrates Purim

The students had a blast this past Thursday  at SSSQ in celebration of the Purim holiday. The children came in their Purim costumes and enjoyed a fun filled day with numerous school activities. The PTA ran an amazing carnival for the students in our gym. There were games, a bouncy house and even a dunk tank! The students also were entertained by Mr. Wiseman's 5th grade and their spectacular performance of the reading of the Megillah.

In the middle school, the students took turns reading the story of Megillah Esther to their classmates. Afterwards, they enjoyed a variety of games including Let's Make A Deal, Kahoot, Family Feud and even a Break Out Room! The students were treated to Hamantashen, lots of yummy snacks and a delicious pizza lunch. Fun was had by all on this most joyous day. We thank all of the PTA members for your dedication and commitment to our school. Your involvement in enhancing these holidays is what makes our school truly great and memorable for our students.
