Eighth Grade Trip to Israel

Our eighth grade students enjoyed a memorable trip to Israel. They returned from their two week adventure Monday. Here are some thoughts about their trip:

My Israel experience was memorable because our trip was my first time in Israel. I was excited I got to go with my friends. It wasn't only memorable it was also fun and adventurous because we also went with another school that we never met before. It's nice to meet new people! While we were in Israel we hiked a lot and saw such amazing views that you can't see in New York unless you go hiking. We also went to the Dead Sea- it was so much fun because we were able to just float and relax. After we left the Dead Sea we did the mud baths which is so good for your skin.
On the trip I also felt really connected with God. I felt connected with God because when we went to the Kotel and prayed their it felt like my connection with God was so strong. I will always remember my first time in Israel with my friends. - A.I.

Our Budding Artists

Shhhhhh.... We want to keep it a secret. Our students are preparing beautiful artwork to give their mom's to celebrate Mother's Day. Let's keep it just between you and me. Don't tell mom. We want it to be a surprise.
