ST. CLARE CONNECTION
MARCH 16, 2018
Fr. Jim’s sister, Rita Duncan, died on Friday, March 16, at 7:00 AM, after a year-long battle with cancer. Because of the small size of her home parish, St. Augustine in Breese, the funeral next week will be limited to family and Rita’s close friends. Thank you for your understanding. Fr. Jim and his family appreciate your continued prayerful support. Rita will be remembered in the Masses this weekend at St. Clare.

COMMUNAL RECONCILIATION SERVICE
THURSDAY, MARCH 22 AT 7:00 PM
Eight additional priests will be here for individual confessions. We provide a simple worship aid for the service in which you do not need to worry about the “how to”. The most important preparation is to take the time to make a good examination of conscience. There are many forms of an examination and can easily be found through a search on the internet or you can visit the link below. Come, celebrate God’s unconditional love and mercy!!
Holy Week & Triduum Liturgies
Our parish has a tradition of praying the Liturgy of the Hours during the Triduum. This year, to help you keep Holy Week “Holy” from Palm Sunday to Holy Thursday, we are offering additional times for communal prayer. If your days are busy, that’s an even better reason to come recenter through prayer!

Monday of Holy Week
Midday Prayer – 12:15pm & Mass – 6:00pm

Tuesday of Holy Week
Chrism Mass (Cathedral of St. Peter) – 11:30am
Midday Prayer – 12:15pm & Evening Prayer – 6:00pm

Wednesday of Holy Week
Midday Prayer – 12:15pm & Evening Prayer – 6:00pm

The Triduum - “Three Holy Day” - is the most solemn and holy time of the liturgical year.
Many parishioners give of their time and talent to create beautiful liturgies that celebrate the source of our salvation. Plan now to join your parish family as we honor the passion, death and resurrection of Christ!

Adoration following until Night Prayer – 9:30pm
