Here's what's happening at St. Clare Church. 
THIS WEEKEND AT ST. CLARE CHURCH

SHOE AND COAT DRIVE  Collecting new and/or gently used shoes in all sizes which should be tied or rubber banded together. Also,  coats in good condition. 

WOMEN'S RETREAT TEAM will be available at tables after all Masses with information and registration forms for the February 17-18 Women's Welcome Weekend Retreat.  To register online go to stclarechurch.org/retreats.
OneSound  Sunday at 3:00 pm, St. Clare Church 
Belleville Philharmonic Society is excited to present OneSound Sunday a sensor y -friendly  concert, sponsored in part by Wells Fargo Advisors. Tickets are $5 for each youth and accompanying adult. This concert is for anyone who wishes to enjoy the symphony without being shushed or asked to leave when you are dancing in the aisles! THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE RACIAL DIVIDE IN THE UNITED STATES

Monday, January 22, 6:30-8:00 pm,  St. Clare Church
* The Bishop's address will examine key elements contributing to the racial divide in the United States and the emergence of the Black Lives Matter Movement from the perspective of the Catholic Church.
* He will explore the reasons why only a small number of African-Americans are Catholics (2.9 million out of nearly 70 million American Catholics), the "all lives matter" vs. "Black lives matter" debate, and the negative impact of the expressions "minorities" and "minority groups."
* He will conclude by exploring the question: what can the Catholic Church do to help bridge the racial divide? 
YOUNG ADULTS BIBLE STUDY
Thursday, January 25, 7:00 pm, Choir Room
All young adults (18+) are invited to encounter  Jesus through scripture in preparation for Lent.  A Bible study series focusing on the Gospel of Luke,  taking you on a journey through Holy week.  Bring a friend!

Thursday, January 25, 7-8:30 pm, Fellowship Hall
Fr. Jim Presents: Learn about the Church's definition of "marriage", the difference between a divorce and an annulment, what is involved in the annulment process in the Church and how an annulment can bring great healing.
CATHOLIC MEN FOR CHRIST
Saturday, January 27
All men of the parish are invited  as Matt Flynn leads a discussion on how to talk about  our faith experiences with family members, friends and  other parishioners. Rosary begins at 7:30 a.m. in the  Blessed Sacrament chapel. Refreshments from 8:00- 8:30 in the Fellowship Hall and the presentation and  discussion 8:30-10:00 a.m.
