ST. CLARE CONNECTION
November 11, 2016
Here's what's happening at St. Clare Church.
'Connecting Music to Mass' is a weekly article that serves as a tool for formation and prayer, helping relate the music we sing at Mass to the scriptures and liturgical season. There is a link to the Sunday readings, and copies of the hymns referenced in the article.

THE DAUGHTERS OF ST. PAUL
from Pauline Books & Media
NOVEMBER 19/20

The Daughters of St. Paul are religious Sisters whose mission is to communicate the Gospel with the media, in the spirit of St. Paul. Their publications of Catholic books, music, and DVDs - both for children and adults - will be available for perusal and purchase after the weekend Masses.

As a part of their visit to our parish, the sisters will offer a LECTIO DIVINA session at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday the 20th.   The session will start in the church library.

What is Lectio Divina? A traditional Benedictine practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God's Word.  It does not treat Scripture as texts to be studied, but as the Living Word. Text Link
