Be Unique - Be a Leader - Be Aquinas
Knightly News - November 26, 2017
Principal's Post

I hope that everyone in the St. Thomas Aquinas Community was able to enjoy a blessed and restful Thanksgiving. We return to school on Tuesday for the final stretch before Christmas.

In today’s Gospel Jesus tells his disciples, “Whatever you did for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me.” At St. Thomas Aquinas we try to recognize those who are less fortunate and take steps to provide some relief for them. This is evident in the recent canned food drive in which over 850 cans of food were collected for the Stark County Hunger Task Force. We also have high school and middle school students who are adopting families for Community Christmas and high school juniors and seniors are working with Community Christmas to organize and distribute gifts to families.

Please continue to pray for God’s will to be done at St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Middle School and for God to open our eyes to those who are least among us and to give us the courage to step out and provide support.

Have a great Aquinas week!

St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us.

Go Knights!
"Catholic schools afford the fullest and best opportunity to realize the fourfold purpose of Christian education, namely, to provide an atmosphere in which the Gospel message is proclaimed, community in Christ is experienced, service to our sisters and brothers is the norm, and thanksgiving and worship of God is cultivated." (University of Notre Dame, 2017)

Ways to Support STA
St Thomas Aquinas High School is partnering with Schoola ( www.schoola.com ).

What’s Schoola? It’s a great way to raise funds for our school. Schoola collects pre-loved women's and children’s clothes, preps and sells them online, and gives 40% of the proceeds (minus the cost of inbound shipping) back to St Thomas Aquinas High School to help fund programs for our kids. That’s $2 out of every $5 earned back to our school! Simply click on the image to view our very own Schoola landing page where you can request a bag and view our progress and funds earned

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to St. Thomas Aquinas High School & Middle School to help fund programs for our students. Every little bit counts, donations quickly add up.

It's easy! Type smile.amazon.com and log into your Amazon.com account. Select St. Thomas Aquinas High School (yes the Middle School benefits too!), Louisville, OH. That's it. Now whenever you make a purchase STA benefits.

Thank you for your support!

Don't forget to forward this to your family and friends! And encourage them to  sign up  to receive their own copy of this email blast.
