F5 Financial Forum 華人財經菁英論壇

On Nov 12 and 13, F5 Financial Forum was held at STC Center, Seasons Place. Since 2004, this community event has been held annually for chinese residences who are interested in wealth management, investment, and taxation in neareby communities. As in past years, there were more than 300 attendances in each day's seminar.
11月12日、13日，華人財經菁英論壇在四季廣場三層STC Center 東區第一會館舉辦，這次的活動由1300電臺的高寧、羅繼文主持。華人財經菁英論壇是從2004年開始的一個大型社區活動，對於關心理財、投資及稅務的朋友們，是不容錯過的座談會。論壇每年都會吸引到每場超過300人來參加，今年也不例外。

This year's topic was "Is The Second Financial Crisis Coming?" As experts of commercial real estate investment, John Hsu and two STC managers, Dalerie Wu and Justin Tsai, gave a presentation about "Have the real estate market reached the bottom?".
今年的主題是"二次金融海嘯真的來了？"。STC資產管理公司的執行長許惠欽（John Hsu) 以商業地產投資專家的身份與另兩位資深的STC團隊成員---投資部門經理Dalerie Wu和租賃部門經理Justin Tsai--共同進行了題為"美國房地產可以進場撿便宜貨了嗎？"的演講。

With real cases, they analyzed the current economic environment and the coming investment opportunities, and introduced Syndication, the method to participate in commercial real estate investment with less capital. What's more, they stated STC's goal of helping Chinese businesses enter into the mainstream market.
他們通過生動的實例向觀眾分析了當下的經濟環境，逐漸顯現的良好投資時機，并介紹了以較少資金參與商業地產投資的方法--合資（Syndication）。同時也表達了團結一致，STC協助華人商家共同進軍美國主流市場美好希望。

"華人財經精英論壇"預測美國經濟發展
《星島日報》報導："2011華人財經精英論壇"12日在工業市（Industry）登場，一連兩天的講座共邀請資產管理師許惠欽、精算師程泓勳、財務師廖彬淳、會計師葉俊麟、律師陳冠英等專家出席，他們除分析"美國房地產進場時機"、"中國經濟的榮景"、"如何自保個人退休金"、"明年大選後，美國所得稅、贈與稅轉變的衝擊"等議題外，席間也預測全球、美國經濟發展，並舉行問答講座，提供民眾投資參考。
廖彬淳表示，這股金融風暴從2008年開始，美國、亞洲、中國、歐洲等全球各地都受影響，2012至2015年更將成美國"經濟冰河期"，成因包括銀行利率將持續偏低，維持在0.5%上下、股市漲幅小、房市停滯不前等。
廖彬淳認為，中國經濟"問題大"，主因是中國經濟目前"一枝獨秀"的表現來自於政府乾預。他說，隨著人民幣升值，房價、物價將應聲上揚，出口貨物總量反之將下降，國內生產毛額（GDP）成長預計放緩，失業率也將隨之升高，每年平均500萬名大學畢業生，很可能有60%至70%將找不到工作。

Hagman's 5th Annual Chili Cookoff
加州眾議員海格曼主辦第五屆辣醬烹飪比賽
For over 5 years Elected Officials from around the region came out for this great night where they competed for the coveted Golden Spoon Award with their very own Chili recipes. Attendances decided whose Chili reigns supreme.

30th Annual "Turkey Trot"
第三十屆"火雞慢跑"活動
The Puente Hills Family YMCA is planning its 30th Annual "Turkey Trot" 5K/10K - Walk/Run & 1K Race, to be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011. Registration begins at 6:30 am with the 1k youth race starting at 7:30am. This popular community event will once again follow a scenic route surrounding the Puente Hills Mall and Puente Hills East in the City of Industry. Our Annual Turkey Trot has attracted over 500 Runners, Walkers, and Volunteers from the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas. Participants have included walkers and runners from local high school track teams, running strollers, young and old alike. As in the past, we anticipate over 500 participants will walk and run through the streets of Industry. Our Title Sponsor this year will be Puente Hills Auto Dealers. Sponsors of our race include the La Puente / Industry Kiwanis, Hacienda Heights Kiwanis, Puente Hills Mall, U.S. Foods, Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District, Supervisor Don Knabe, just to name a few. Many local businesses and individuals donate products, prizes and money to make our event the success that is has always been. Pre Event Registration for the 5K/10K is only $25 for adults, $20 for youth, 18 or under. The 1K Youth race is only $5. Call for information (626)961-3480 or email puentehills@sgvymca.org.
