On April 1, 2015, the STC Executive Search Committee began a 60-day candidate search for Rick Doyle's replacement, which ends on May 31. During this time, committee and staff members will have reviewed over 80 resumes, conducted numerous phone interviews and in-person interviews with the finalists, and provided a recommendation to the Board of Directors for final approval (June 1-30). Once the new President is hired, a transition phase will commence with Rick Doyle and his successor. The 2015 STC Annual Membership Meeting in Atlanta, GA on October 5-7, 2015, will be an opportunity for members to meet the new STC President and say farewell to Rick, whose leadership and knowledge has shaped the industry as we know it. A highlight of the Annual Membership Meeting in Atlanta will be the Community Service Project and on-site dedication of a 6,000 square foot playfield and fitness area for the City of Refuge, a homeless ministry on the west side of downtown Atlanta. This donation is only possible through the generosity of our members. If you haven't contributed, there is still time. For more information, please contact STC Office Headquarters at 678-385-6720 or [email protected]. Thank you all for your support, and I wish you a busy and prosperous spring and summer ahead.
Regards, Robert Thomas
STC Chairman
President, ProGrass
