BASKET BLITZ

This year the Gala will provide our children money for a STEM makerspace. Every grade will fill a themed basket for the auction. Each student is asked to bring in one or more inexpensive item(s) for the class basket with the receipt taped to the back of the item for exchanges or possible duplications.

The PTC will be holding a Basket Blitz to get the class baskets filled during the week of February 19th – 23rd. During that week send the item to school with your child(ren) and they can give it to their teacher.

The grade that obtains the most items in their class basket will get a pizza or ice cream party!

Come on kids and get those baskets filled!

running-track.jpg
Children with the parish in grades 5th - 8th are  welcome  to sign up.

Registration costs $40 for the season, which includes their uniform.

  • Practice will begin in early-to-mid March, with the first meet on March 26th and the season's conclusion in mid-May.
  • Parents please encourage your child(ren) to participate, they will enjoy the experience with their fellow classmates, while competing with the other parochial schools and parishes in the Des Moines area.
  • Practice is just a few days a week, and there are only a few meets. It's a great way to keep kids physically active!!
  • Another thing to keep in mind is it’s “Track and Field” meaning there are multiple event options for your children.
  •
If you have any questions about the season feel free to contact Mike Rhode directly at  RHODEMICHAEL@msn.com

BOX TOP FOR EDUCATION

Please send Boxtops for Education to school no later than February 15 th to count for this school year. So far this school year we have earned $600 through the General Mill’s Boxtops for Education program. Please make an effort to ask grandmas and aunties save them for us also. I am amazed at the Walnut Ridge senior center and the number of Boxtops we get from them.
