STiKS Winter Classes and Clinics

Our winter classes are fast approaching and only a certain number of spots are available for each class. Make sure to sign up as soon as possible to assure a spot in the class. Start your training for next season and get a advantage over your competition!

2015 Fall Classes/Camps are Coming Fast!

Winter 2015 Hitters Skills & Strength

STiKS Academy & Sports Training has developed the most comprehensive sport specific training in the area. The Skills & Strength Hitting class is designed to build functional baseball strength and to work on those necessary HITTING skills for baseball through the experienced coaching staff at STiKS Academy.

Classes will be 2 hours long on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning January 11 - February 24 (no class week of Thanksgiving). Each class players will have 1 hour dedicated to building sport specific strength and 1hour dedicated to baseball (hitting) skill improvement through the latest drills. The entire class is set up to combine the functional strength and the baseball skills to train the entire body to prepare for the upcoming season.

Fall Session
- Boys Ages 6-9   5:00 - 7:00 pm
- Boys Ages 10-12   6:00 - 8:00 pm
- Boys Ages 13-18   7:00 - 9:00 pm
- Monday and Wednesday evenings
- Class begins Monday, January 11 and concludes Wednesday February 24
- Cost: $280

Winter Saturday Rip It Class

Classes will be 1 hour once per week on Saturdays in a structured environment. The Spring Rip It Class will begin on January 16 and conclude on February 27. Each class, players will have 60 minutes dedicated to baseball (hitting) skill improvement through utilizing the latest drills.

This class will teach the latest tee, toss and flip drills. Get prepared for your upcoming baseball season and work on those necessary HITTING skills for baseball through the experienced coaching staff at STiKS Academy.

Ages: 6-9 Saturdays: 9:30 - 10:30 am
Ages: 10 - 12 Saturdays: 10:30 - 11:30 am
Ages: 13 - 18 Saturdays: 11:30 - 12:30

Sunday Rip It Class

Ages: 6-9 Sundays: 9:30 - 10:30 am

Winter Catchers Class

The Catchers class is designed to work on the 3 major areas of catching: Blocking, Throwing & Receiving. Catchers must bring own equipment. This is your opportunity to gain knowledge and experience for playing the toughest position on the field. Class will be lead by former professional catcher Sean Smith

The class will be on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Class will begin Tuesday, January 5 and conclude on Tuesday, February 23. The cost of the eight-week class will be $160. The age range of this class will be from 8 -18 and players will be divided up by age and skill level.

Winter Pitching Class:

The main objective of the class is to ensure proper pitching mechanics by young pitchers and to get arms ready for the upcoming season. Without proper pitching mechanics young players will be ineffective or become injured. Class will be lead by former professional pitcher Kyle Karvala. Kyle has worked extensively with pitchers around SE Wisconsin for several years.
