When on campus you'll usually notice new sights as construction adds new buildings to our campus, but this time, you'll notice something familiar - is no longer there.
On January 30, the Old Main Fountain, a campus landmark that remains a favorite of students and alumni, was removed for restoration. But don't worry, it'll be back in time for May graduation and for the Unveiling and Rededication set to happen during Alumni Weekend in June. Read more. |

Old Main Fountain Unveiling & Rededication
We want your photos of you in front of the Old Main Fountain
Do you have a photo(s) of you and friends taken in front of the Old Main Fountain? If yes, please send them! We are looking for wedding photos, reunion photos, graduation photos & more taken of SHIP Alumni at the fountain. Photos may be used in a historical timeline display on campus, in a slideshow, or in a commemorative book. Electronic format prefered and e-mailed to alumni@ship.edu. You must own any photos you submit and by submitting the photos you give the university permission to use them in any medium for purposes of advertising, trade, display, academic or editorial use.
Photos may be used in conjunction with the rededication of the fountain during Alumni Weekend on Saturday, June 2 at 4:00 PM. |

Sorority Seeking Prom Dresses
Do you have Prom Dresses & Accesories? - Read On. Tau Kappa, the women's athletic sorority, is seeking donations of gently used prom and formal dresses and accessories for Project Prom Dress which will be held March 25. For many teen girls going to the prom may be financially out of reach. Now, thanks to the Tau Kappa sorority and the 2nd annual Project Prom Dress, they will have that chance. Read on. |

 Red Raider Football Announces Initial Signings for the 2012 Recruiting Class
The Shippensburg University football program has announced its initial list of new recruits that have signed to play for the Red Raiders beginning in the 2012 season. A group of 12 players have signed national letters of intent (NLIs) or institutional letters expressing their desire to play football at Shippensburg under head coach Mark 'Mac' Maciejewski '92/'96M.  Titanic Fashions: High Style in the 1910s
The SU Fashion Archives and Museum and the Hanover Area Historical Society cordially invite you to attend the opening of their first joint exhibit on Sunday, March 11 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM
The exhibit is located in the historic Warehime-Myers mansion on 305 Baltimore Street in Hanover. Admission is $8 per adult. The exhibit runs through April 29 and operating hours are Wednesday 10-3:15, Saturday 12-3:15, Sunday 1-5 p.m. |
