Greetings!

To everyone that returned to Ship for Homecoming - Thank You!

We ended up with good weather, a great turnout (alumni participation doubled over last year), and a Red Raider football win! The updated FAN   ZONE was a hit with the music DJ and inflatables, and the tailgate area was full with alumni taking advantage of the expanded tailgate time from 10am - 4pm. Additionally, both wine tasting 101 sessions and the very busy people cooking session were sold out.

Take time to give us your feedback from the weekend by taking this quick survey. You may also e-mail alumni@ship.edu. Photos from the weekend may be viewed on theAlumni Flickr page.

SAVE the DATE for Homecoming 2013 - October 25 and 26.

SHIP Stories App
You have a new way to view the SU Magazine

Readers of our magazine can view it on iPhones or iPads through the Ship Stories app. The new app, available for free in the Apple App Store, allows users of those devices to view the magazine anywhere and at anytime.

 W
ith the ever-increasing use of smartphones and tablets in our daily lives, this app allows individuals to view the magazine whenever and wherever they want. This app allows alumni to interact with the university and to keep in touch and learn about what is happening at Shippensburg. The app also provides links to the university's Facebook and Twitter accounts, and the Alumni Association website.

The magazine has been available online for a number of years but this new app allows it to be viewed on mobile devices. Currently, the app is for Apple products only. Search for SHIP Stories in the App store. A similar app for the Android platform is being developed. The university will continue to print and distribute copies of the magazine to alumni, friends and other supporters of the university.
