Spring Break Camps
Safety Town
Safety Town is a fun, week-long program consisting of a miniature town with child-sized houses, crosswalks, and streets. This popular program teaches ages 4, 5, and 6 about safety through songs, guest speakers, and role-playing. Sessions offered during spring break and throughout the summer. Most sessions are $80* for New Castle County Residents, and $100 for
Non-Residents.

Spring Break Skateboarding Clinic
Beginners to advanced skateboarders learn from some of the best skate staff in the business. Skate with instructors from Adrenaline Skateboarding and rest assured they'll help you step up your game to next-level skating. No doubt, a week at this camp will not leave you disappointed. Skateboard, helmet, elbow and knee pads are required. Bring a towel and water bottle. In order to ensure a proper level of instruction, first time boarders should call (302) 395-5890 before buying any equipment*. Clinic meets Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.. Fee is $60 per camper. Day Camps
Campers enjoy weekly themes, daily fresh air time, non-competitive sports, supervised games and age appropriate activities, arts and crafts, weekly swimming and visit from Mr. Softee Ice Cream Truck, educational presentations and guests. Summer campers and counselors spend 20 minutes a day engaging in reading with materials provided by New Castle County Libraries. New Castle County Summer Reading Challenge will be implemented at all camp locations with the theme of “Libraries Rock!” Camps meet Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. Fee is $125 per camper per week ( $110 for July 2-6, NO Camp July 4). Extended Care is $35 per camper per week (7:30-9 a.m. and 4-5:30 p.m.). Ages 7-12

Horseback Riding Camps

Fashion Camp is a program sponsored by Great Taste Design Company that provides sewing, design, leadership, and life skills. This is an outdoor camp. Campers will need to arrive with sunscreen applied and appropriate clothing and sneakers. In case of extreme inclement weather, campers will seek shelter in the New Castle Presbyterian Church located at 25 East 2nd Street, Old New Castle. Camp meets Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. Fee is $35 per child per week.

Full-Day All Sports Camp
New Castle County partners with the Kirkwood Soccer Club and Elite Athletic Specialists to offer three, week-long, full-day all sports camps. Highlighted sports activities include baseball/softball, basketball, flag football, soccer and speed/agility training. Each week includes a day of swimming. Camp meets Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. Fee is $125 per camper per week ($130 for non-New Castle County residents). Extended care is available for $35 per week. Ages 8-13.

Combine Clay Camp, Drawing & Painting, or Mixed Media Fun Class for an art filled two-week half-day camp this summer. Classes can also be taken individually. Camps meet for two weeks, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Combine two classes to make a half-day camp. Using a variety of techniques and exploring texture and form, children will create both sculptures and functional pieces out of clay. The older group will include instruction on the potter’s wheel.
