Summer is the time when fiber crafting takes second place to activities like gardening, travel, vacation and a multitude of outdoor activities.  With that in mind, please note that we will be observing the following hours.  
May 31st - August 21st 2017
Tuesday:                   12 noon - 7:30 pm 
Wednesday-Friday:  12 noon - 5 pm 
Saturday:                  10 am - 4 pm 
Sunday & Monday:   C L O S E D  
Note:  We are continuing our extended hours on Tuesdays, 5:00-7:30 pm for Knit Night.

2017 Kids Fiber Arts Camp (ages 8-12 years) 
Tuesday-Friday,  6/13-6/16, 10 am - 1 pm 
Instructor: Andrea Golden 
  Children will enjoy learning new skills including knitting, felting, weaving, and sewing while making fun and creative projects to take home. All levels of experience are welcome!

Rigid Heddle Weaving: Color and Texture Workshop
Saturday, June 24th, 1-4 pm
Instructor:  Linda Gardner
Weaving on a rigid heddle loom is a great way to play with knitting yarns in a variety of colors and textures. Students must know the basics of rigid heddle weaving. 
  
 

Rigid Heddle Weaving:  Hand-Manipulated Design Workshop 
Saturday, July 15th, 1-4 pm
Instructor:  Linda Gardner
Move beyond basic weaving and learn how to use pick-up stick or finger-manipulated techniques such as warp and weft floats or Leno lace on rigid heddle loom.
 

 

Beginning Knitting
3 Tuesdays, 6/3, 6/13 & 6/20, 5:00 - 7:00 pm

All you knit is love, so learn how to knit this summer and you'll be ready to make hand-knitted gifts for the holidays!  

Beginning Crochet
3 Tuesdays, July 11, 18, 25, 5:00-7:00 pm
Instructor:  Kayla Maldonado
All the benefits you heard about knitting apply to crocheting as well.  For some, it's simpler and easier to learn using one hook. You'll learn the basics of crocheting and make a scarf or crochet block (aka granny square). 

Private Lesson 
We offer individual or group instruction in knitting, crocheting, weaving and spinning.  Call us to schedule one for you and your friends.
