Sacramento LGBT Business-Builder Event!
A special event on December 1, from 8 a.m. - Noon, is a collaborative partnership with the SBA, the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, and SMUD and is a historic national initiative whose purpose is to remove barriers and increase access to strategic growth opportunities for America's LGBT business owners. The event is December 1st and will be held at the SBA Sacramento District Office in Citrus Heights from 8am - Noon.
The workshop will prepare attendees to:
Grow their businesses with the NGLCC LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) certification, leverage the resources and information provided by the U.S. Small Business Administration into lucrative procurement contracts, and take advantage of emerging procurement opportunities now open in California as a result of AB1678. Companies interested in working with LGBTBEs include California's public utility companies and over 1/3 of the Fortune 500!
