Dear Neighbors,
On Sunday morning, May 27th at about 2:00 a.m., an unknown male entered a residence in the 400 block of W. Belden Ave.
and attempted to make inappropriate sexual advances towards a juvenile female who was asleep in her bedroom. Approximately 20 minutes later, in a separate incident, an unknown male entered a residence in the 500 block of W. Grant Pl and had sexual contact with a juvenile female victim who was also asleep. The offender fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction in both incidents. In both cases, the offender entered through an unlocked door.
The offender is described as:
- White Male
- 20-30 years old
- Light complexion
- 5'06-5'07 / 160 lbs
- Short brown or strawberry blonde hair
- Cigarette smoker
Residents need to remain vigilant and take steps to protects themselves. Sadly, the doors were open and an awful circumstance occurred.

- Dial 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity immediately
- Provide information to the police
