Sage continues to offer exciting and fun global educational experiences for our students. Within the next year we have three short term travel opportunities for students, faculty, and staff.

Spring Break in China (March 7 - 17, 2013)
$3,065 double occupancy
per person

Come explore the mysteries of China, home of more than 1.3 billion people. While in China you will travel to Beijing City where you will visit the Temple of Heaven, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall. You will travel on to Xian to view the Terracotta Warriors, the Wild Goose Pagoda, the Bell and Drum Towers, and the Ancient City Wall. Finally on to Shanghai where you will visit the Bund, the Yu Garden and the Shanghai Museum, before flying back to Albany, NY.

Global Educational Experiences

Global Educational Experiences U.K. Cultural Immersion Interdisciplinary Perspectives
(December 27, 2013 - January 9, 2014)
$3,700.00 double occupancy per person

London Calling! This cultural Immersion trip will have you experiencing the sights, sounds and tastes of London. This two week trip will be spent completely in London City and has something to offer Health Science majors, the undecided student, and any community member interested in traveling to London. While in London you will visit such places as: British Museum, St. Bartholomew's Priory and Hospital, Westminster, Big Ben, House of Parliament, Fleet Street and St. Paul's Cathedral. Take a spooky Jack the Ripper night tour and attend many theater and musical performances. This trip also leaves you plenty of time to explore London on your own. Finally spend New Year's Eve 2013 in London and celebrate New Years with the Brits 5 hours before the United States.

MBA Business in China
(May 19 - June 2, 2013)
$6,500 double occupancy per person

This trip is specifically for MBA students at Sage. This trip is a Multi-National Corporate and Cultural Study Tour offering the opportunity to study through travel. China was once deemed the sleeping giant, however, the giant is awakening. This trip will take graduate students to Beijing, Xian, Guilin, and Shanghai where you will visit with members of GM Buick Assembly Plant, General Electric, American Express Financial Center, the Shanghai Stock Market, and the WTO (World Trade Organization). Spend one week in residency at the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, where we will take class with SIFT faculty members. This will not be all work and no play; you will also take a cruise down the Li River, visit the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, the Terracotta Warriors, and of course the Great Wall.

If you have questions about any of these trips, or how faculty can develop their own travel trip, contact Sabrina E. McGinty, Director of Cultural Enrichment and Diversity at #518.244.6891 (Troy), #518.292.7747 (Albany), or via email at mcgins@sage.edu.
