Saint Bridget School sends out a Memo every week to relay important information and updates. This is the primary form of communication and we ask  parents to please open and read this memo every week!  We send this email to the primary email you provided to us.
September 11th: Picture Day
September 14th: Back to School Night 6-8PM
September 18th-22nd: Nature's Classroom for Gr. 5-6
Changes to Dismissal Procedures: Going forward, students that are Riders will remain on the side of the parking lot closest to the Pre-K Door to wait for their Parent/Pick up person. Persons picking up a student should walk over to their student to retrieve them. This is being implemented to ensure the safety of all students in the busy parking lot.

Iris Emergency Alert Test: On Friday, September 15th, we will be conducting a test of our Iris Emergency Alert System. This is done to ensure that parents are receiving these important alerts to the correct phone numbers and contacts that were provided to us. This call typically will come from a Texas area code. If you do not receive the alert, please contact Mrs. Harmon as soon as possible.

Picture Day: Picture Day is this Monday, September 11th! All students should be in uniform (except for 8th graders). If for some reason your student will not be in school or if you want to retake, Picture Day retakes will be done on November 2, 2017.

Back to School Night is Thursday!  Back to School Night will be held on September 14th from 6-8 PM. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet their child's teacher, see the classrooms, learn about the curriculum, sign up for parent/teacher conferences, and more. All parents are encouraged to attend. This is a parent only event.

Uniform Closet Rates and Times: Gently used uniforms are available to purchase in our Used Uniform Closet. Parents can shop in the closet during before and after school hours from 7-8 AM or 2-3 PM. Rates for items have changed and are listed inside the closet and are available at the Front Desk.

Terrific News:  The uniform closet was renovated over the weekend and we are looking for donations of plastic hangers - both shirt and skirt hangers - to use in our new closet.  There will be a box near the front desk to donate hangers.  Thank you.

Cub Scouts: The first meeting of the St Bridget Cub Scout Pack 5 will be held in the School Hall Wednesday Sept. 13th. We will be having a presentation by Animal Adventures! Boys in grades K-5 who are interested in learning more about Scouting are invited to attend this meeting. Siblings are welcome. For more information about Cub Scouts, email Pack Leader Monique Dini.

CORI - Are you planning on volunteering at school, being a reading buddy, going on a field trip, or helping at lunch?  Anyone that plans on helping at school must be CORI'd. Remember that this process takes several weeks so it is best to get it done these first days of school so that you can go on the fall field trips.

Protecting God's Children Course: New to SBS or new to volunteering?
All volunteers must complete a one time course called Protecting God's Children within their first year. This class will be held at St. George Catholic Church on October 21st from 10-2PM. To Register for this class, please contact by email Karen Mallozzi at 508-875-5959.

Altar Servers Needed! Is your child (Grades 5-8 only) interested in becoming an altar server? Please click here for the sign up form! This form should be returned to the Rectory as soon as possible.

From the Admissions Office:  Would you like to be on the Admissions Committee?  Mrs. Ryan is looking for 6-8 parents who are willing to work with her on the Open Houses and other important work marketing the school.  If interested, please email Mrs. Ryan here.

From the Nurse: Please provide an up to date physical and immunization form to the health office for students in Grade 7, particularly the Tdap vaccine at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
