News From the Principal

 





Dear Saint Jeanne's Families,

     This week Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School celebrates "Because Nice Matters" Week for the fifth year.  It was five years ago when Judy Stapleton, vice principal of Great Oak High School asked if we might like to join the schools within Temecula Valley to dedicate a special week to bullying awareness.  As the only Catholic School within the district, we are uniquely blessed as we can address this topic each day within our religion classes.  We have also adopted the "Too Good for Violence" and "Discipline with Purpose" curricula which meet the important standards within a Company of Mary Catholic School.  
     As we focus on this week's theme, "Because Nice Matters", let us commit to modeling the values we feel are important. While the students are actively engaged in lessons which incorporate important life skills, let us feel obliged to "pay it forward" so to speak and start the cycle of "nice" and see that it is the little things that can make a difference.  Thank you to Mrs. Chudomelka and the Student Council for their preparation for this important week.  Please see information and schedule on the link above.
        Please note on the calendar above, that we have two important meetings this week.  On Wednesday, the Auction Committee will host the first Auction Fundraiser meeting, and then on Thursday, we will check in with new families at the New Family Meet and Greet in the school cafeteria.
         As always, thank you parents for your positive spirit and joy-filled support!  We have lots to celebrate!

Saint Jeanne's Families have the opportunity to gather together as a school community for a wonderful day of joy and festivities at our Annual Family/Alumni Picnic/Carnival on Saturday, October 8th!
Blessed Sacrament Chapel is Open
Come and visit our Blessed Sacrament Chapel which is open to parents and students every day from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
We encourage you to visit the chapel each Friday morning at 8:05 am to pray the Rosary as a school parent community

Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School
has adopted a "One to One" technology device program to enhance the middle school students' learning and offer blended learning opportunities with cutting edge updated curricular programs.
