News From the Principal

Dear Saint Jeanne's Families,

This is a short week, but filled with many important activities! We look forward to the high school focus group meetings as well as the SJDLS Annual Spelling Bee, the start of our basketball season, and our alumni pancake breakfast!

We will keep you posted as to the latest activities related to Catholic Schools Week which is scheduled from Saturday, January 30 - Saturday February 6th. Some of the highlights include: Catholic Schools Week Mass and Pasta Dinner Night, our Nun Run, our Annual SJDLS Talent Show, and much, much more!

Once again, thank you for your continued love, support and encouragement. Keep Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic High School in your thoughts and prayers as we move forward to the next phase.

Nun Run:

It is not too late to Register! Sign up now!

Nun Run is quickly approaching! There is still time to register. We have lots of fun prizes in store! Also, have your child "race a teacher". If they can beat their teacher across the finish line, they will earn a homework pass! See you at the start line!

Any Registrations after Jan 22 will not be guaranteed a shirt.

We will kick off this event with our Catholic Schools Week Mass and Pasta Dinner Night on Saturday, January 30th at 5:00 pm - We will offer a special blessing of the soles....(tennis shoes that is)!

Can't wait to see you there!

Auction:

Thank you to all of our families for the wonderful donations to our Annual Auction Fundraiser " Enchanting Havana Evening !

We NEED YOU! Are you selling those raffle tickets? Our next raffle ticket number tumbler is scheduled to rumble this Friday, January 15th after school! Thank you as always for your support!

Programs:

ALOHA!!! Start practicing your hula then dust off your grass skirt and pull out your favorite Hawaiian shirt! Please join us for an all grades, no cost Mother/ Son Night on Friday, February 19th from 6- 8 pm. Light refreshments will be served along with Luau- like fun!

Room Parents:

Room Parents did an amazing job with organizing and assisting with Christmas Celebrations.
