Dear Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Families,

It has been a while since our last newsletter! As you know, the school is busy, vibrant, and thriving with learning and activity!  We kicked off our 25th Anniversary in such a special way this year with our amazing annual Carnival!  Thank you so very much to Mrs. Wichterman, Mrs. Andrews, Mrs. Fruehe, our Home and School Board, Room Parents, and amazing Parent Volunteers!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!  It meant so much to have such great support from all of our families.

As you can see, our field was named the "Gosch Field" at our carnival event.  Thank you so very much to the Gosch Family for their generous donation of $500,000 for the development and expansion of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic High School.  The Capital Campaign is in full motion.  If you have ideas or special contacts for potential donors or foundations, please contact Sister Ernestine.

Last week, our middle school honor associations, (NJHS, CJSF), sold colored ribbons for "Colors of Compassion" Week!  In total the school raised $1,200 for cancer research at the City of Hope in Los Angeles.  Great job students!  Please continue to hold Paul Zaleski - Annette's husband in prayer as he is currently in treatment at the City of Hope Hospital.  In addition to Colors of Compassion Week, we celebrated Grandparents Day for our Little Vineyard and Kindergarten with a lovely prayer service and reception.  It was such a hit!  We loved seeing so many of the children's special loved ones!

This past Monday, we were thrilled to host an 8th grade high school shadow day and parent dinner and informational meeting.  Saint Jeanne's welcomed Xavier High School's principal Jimmy Tricco and 6 of his student representatives to share highlights about their experiences in Catholic High School.  The event was a great success.  We look forward to our first freshmen class who will be receiving quite an incentive as our first ever high school class on our 25th Anniversary!

In the next few days, we look forward to our Grandparent Mass, Red Ribbon Week, and Parent/Teacher Conferences.  We will send additional details soon!
