Just in time for summer, we have installed beautiful shade sails over a large portion of our deck to make your outdoor dining experience more comfortable. These highly functional sails not only look impressive, but they actually reduce surface temperatures by over 10 degrees by blocking the suns rays and allowing air convection to pass through the breathable fabric. Fresh Fish Market Executive Chef, Ivy Magruder has teamed up with Bob's Seafood to have whole fresh fish flown in every week. Starting April 5th, every Thursday evening we will offer an open air European style seafood market. Choose between five species of whole fish, prawns or oysters and have them grilled to order right in front of you. Each week's fresh catch will be listed on our Facebook page by 11am every Thursday morning.

Beer & Spirit School - Saturday, July 7th
Don't forget about the Beer & Spirit School on the Saturday, July 7th at 11:00am! Join us for a guided tour of the brewery and distillery. You will learn about the history of Square One, the different equipment and parts of the brewing and the distilling process, about the raw materials that go into our products, and different ways to infuse flavoring. We will also talk about how we use our beer and spirits in our dishes. Tours will be on the first Saturday of the month at 11:00am, and last about an hour. We reopen Friday, July 6 to a month of abundance and All American classics. With so many fruits and veggies ripe for picking, we're brewing up gallons of tangy peach lemonade, baking pans full of Gramma Budde's hot milk sponge cake to serve with berries and cream, and grilling heaps of just harvested squash and eggplant and carrots for salads and sandwiches and side dishes. Kick off National Picnic Month and order up a mouth-watering-brown-bagful of delights from our kitchen to take to a Lafayette Square Saturday night concert in the park.
