Share Your Thoughts
With Us!
If you have not had the opportunity to participate in the survey regarding late service start times, please do so. The link is listed below. If you would prefer, hard copies will also be available again this week around the church and in the adult Sunday school classes.

Over the past year, Saint Luke's has experimented with a 10:30 Sunday Sanctuary Worship service time instead of 11:00, in order to fit better into the community life around us. Now that we have experience and observations to draw from regarding both times, we would like to survey the congregation's reflections before making an assessment and decision about the time change. While no schedule is perfect for everyone, we want to keep the schedule that's best for Saint Luke's. Thanks in advance for your feedback on the survey below!

Please click here to access the survey. It is a 5 question survey with option to add brief comments. Please note that some question(s) may not be applicable; please just skip as needed.

Our "Shipwreck" Needs
More Deck Hands!
Over 75 adults and youth have already signed up to help us lead VBS in some way. For our ship to float (and wreck) we still need about 25 more deck hands. Specifically, we need 4 leaders for our 3's class (they're almost all 4 and potty trained!), a Kindergarten leader, a 1st grade leader, two 2nd grade leaders, and two 3rd grade leaders...plus a few youth spots for preschool art. Thanks for helping us bring the assurance of God's love and presence to so many children in our community this summer!

Spots Going Fast on Our Sinking Ship!
If the child or children in your family or neighborhood haven't yet signed up for "Shipwrecked" VBS set to crash on June 11 (and rescue scheduled for June 14), please sign up soon. Spaces are going fast! VBS is for children who were 3 by September 1 of 2017 through current fifth grade. www.slpres.org.

Help Feed our "Shipwrecked" Castaways!
Saint Luke's members and friends are invited to stop by our special palm tree in the main lobby to pick a "palm leaf" labeled with a specific snack ingredient and quantity we need to help feed our VBS kids. Take one or several! Then, initial in our "ship's snack log" what you have taken/will deliver by the date listed. Your contribution will go a long way to see that our students get a delicious and creative snack to reinforce the Bible stories.

New AI

Mulch Mover!

Building and Grounds has just purchased a brand new "AI Mulch Mover". It can automatically load, move and spread mulch. However, this revolutionary new device is still in the prototype stages and requires human operators to program and debug it. If you have a couple of hours to help, contact Roby Price, robyprice@slpres.org, to schedule some time to try out our new Mulch Mover. (Ha Ha)
