"What Only Jesus Can Do"
Sunday Sermon

Jesus comes eating and drinking in Luke's Gospel.  This Sunday we continue the Easter season sermon series, "Eating with Jesus" as we look at Jesus's miraculous feeding of more than 5000 people. When are the times that we feel the most overwhelmed and that our life is the messiest? Tami Gomez's message will invite you to follow Jesus as He shows us that meals can be a place of hope as we learn to place our trust in Him.

Luke 9:10-17
Worship:  9:00 & 10:30 a.m.
Parents' Night Out
Tonight, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Drop your kids off at church and go have a night on the town. Your kids will enjoy fun activities and will be in the hands of loving adults and teens you can trust. Kids should be fed dinner before you come. The evening is free, but donations are accepted.

Layette Donations Due Sunday

Layette donations are due this Sunday. This is your last chance to bring new: onesies, footed sleepers, sweaters, socks, blankets, teething toys, beanies, and diapers. We have a particular need for onesies and footed sleepers (size 0-3 months and 3 months). Please bring items to the crib in the Welcome Center.

Help sort the items on Tuesday, May 16 at 9:30 a.m. and help assemble the kits at 5:45 p.m. that night in the Teen Center.

Graduate Information Needed
Graduate Sunday is June 4

We'll be honoring the graduating class of 2017 on Sunday, June 4. If you are the proud parent of a graduate (or are graduating yourself), please send us their information and photo and we'll include them on the slideshow. We need to know the graduate's name, name of school, type of degree (if applicable), where they are moving on to and a photo. Email this information and photo to Gail in the office or leave at the Welcome Center no later than Sunday, May 27. Graduates should be high school age or older and limited to you or your child(ren) - please no grandchildren.
Results of Silent Auction and Donations for Children's Rescue Mission

A heartfelt THANK YOU, Saint Matthew Community, for your generous support of the Children's Rescue Mission fundraiser on Sunday, April 30th.  We had over 70 items donated from members, friends and local businesses for sale and people generously brought breakfast muffins and fruit for you to enjoy. Between items sold, money received from the men's golf tournament and direct donations, over $17,500 was collected to support children and seniors through the work of CRM.

Please keep Miguel Giron, the Honduras pastors and volunteers in your prayers as their good work continues. We thank you again for your generous support of this ministry.

Finally, just a reminder that spots are still available for the mission trip to Teupasenti, Honduras, June 17 to 23. Contact Cheryl Sigler if you are interested in learning more!
