Mid-January News from Saint Peter's
Welcome from Rev. Elaine

Hooray!  Hooray for St Peter's!  Thank you for your wonderful welcome and being who you are.  I look forward to getting to know each of either through one-on-one conversations or group gatherings for tea, coffee or a meal.  Working together collaboratively requires developing common language, through communication, shared projects and knowing one another.

The search committee and vestry communicated to me that you gained new insights about your life together through the interim time.  So, incorporating those, and benefiting from your work last year is high on my agenda.  Moving into the future together requires dreams and action steps, knowing who we are and who we want to be.  This involves including treasures of the past as well as rich, creative imagination.  Let us develop as bread for the journey, joy, laughter and faith.

I am profoundly glad to be here.

Annual Meeting

On Sunday, January 22, St. Peter's will conduct its 53rd Annual Parish Meeting.
The meeting starts at 10:45 a.m. in the Parish Hall. This is a great opportunity to learn all that has been accomplished in the previous year as well as the plans for the coming year.
Following the meeting will be an all-parish Pot Luck. Use the link below to access the 2016 Annual Report that includes reports on all aspects of St. Peter's in-reach and out-reach for the year and a financial report for 2016.

The meal site is at 6th St. and Harrison in Davenport.  Service is from 5:45-6:30 p.m.5:00 p.m. The sign-up board at the back of the church displays opportunities for you to help.
