Dear St. John Paul II Community,

I hope your week is off to a great start! I am currently away chaperoning our "Invinc18le" 8th graders on the Washington D.C. trip and am looking forward to learning alongside them in our Capitol.

I am pleased to share that our virtue for the month for October is "Charity" and we will be learning about St. Therese of Lisieux who became a Saint because of the way she wholeheartedly responded to God's love.

After reflection over the last month, so many in our community were called to be Christ to one another by reflecting Christ's love in our actions, giving, of whatever was needed. This is charity when we show pure love from the heart through genuine concern and compassion for others, even in the little things.

As we continue to grow in charity this month, I ask that you utilize the virtue card as a family to open your hearts to His will as we strive to do all things with love and charity.

In Him,
