Dear SJPII Parents,

What an awesome beginning to the school year!  We are so blessed to have all our students and families back on campus.

For the most part, carpool has been running like clockwork. However, below are just a few reminders:
  • MORNINGSCarpool and walkers begin at 7:40 a.m., and students are considered tardy at 8:00. Students dropped off before 7:40 will be sent to Before and After School Care and parents will be charged accordingly.
  • AFTERNOONS - 3:00 p.m. is PreK/K dismissal (white tags), 3:15 is Elementary dismissal (green tags) and 3:30 is Middle School dismissal (orange tags).  Middle School carpool drivers should wait for the green line to end before starting (i.e. do not merge colors).
  • BRIMHURST WALKERS - elementary parents, please clear the parking spots along Brimhurst promptly after getting your student(s) to make way for the those picking up Middle School students.
  • Lastly, click here to enjoy an article with funny reminders that we aren't alone in our carpool struggles - it offers great advice for SJPII or any school!

With the neighboring HISD schools starting their school year this week, I'm sure you have noticed an increase in traffic around SJPII. Please "pack your patience" and be extra cautious for the safety of all the students in our neighborhood. This is a great and simple opportunity to model Christ-like behavior to our children, forming disciples of Christ.

We are blessed to offer many extracurricular activities/clubs, most of which will begin after the Labor Day holiday. Be sure to take a look at the programs listed below under "After School Clubs" and click on the links for more information.

In Him we trust,
