Dear St. John Paul II Families,

Well, we have had a great two days back on campus after a surprise winter storm in Houston, TEXAS! My apologies, we did our best to dismiss the children safely in the rain today since there was no thunder and lightening. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Welcome to our special Friday edition of Saints Weekly…please be sure to read about the many events coming up in the next two weeks as we prepare to celebrate National Catholic Schools Week here at the greatest Catholic school around!

My Jesus Calling book featured something particularly relevant this week that I wanted to share with you: "Learn to trust Me when things go 'wrong.' Disruptions to your routine highlight your dependence on Me. Trusting acceptance of trials brings blessings that far outweigh them all. Walk hand in hand with Me through this day. I have lovingly planned every inch of the way. Trust does not falter when the path becomes rocky and steep. Breathe deep draughts of My Presence, and hold tightly to My hand. Together we can make it!" What a great message about FORTITUDE, this month's virtue!

Have a blessed weekend!
