Net Zero / Net Zero Ready Version 1 Officially Released

Version 1 of The Canadian Home Builders' Association Net Zero Home Labelling Program has been officially released.  A pilot version of the program ran from September 2015 to December 2016.
EnerQuality will be offering builder training this Fall for builders interested in getting involved. 

For those builders who trained under the Pilot, a webinar covers the differences between the Pilot and Version 1.

ENERGY STAR 2017: Time Running Out to Enroll to Version 12

With the release of ENERGY STAR for New Homes Standard Version 17.0, the window for enrolling under the previous, Version 12, is closing. 
Version 12 enrollments will no longer be accepted after August 31, 2017 .
Builders enrolling before August 31 to Version 12 have a two-year build-out period. You will have until August 31, 2019, to compete the home.

Congratulations to EnerQuality builders Doug Tarry Homes, RND Construction, Lucchetta Homes, Great Gulf Ltd. and Rinaldi Builders for winning awards at the recent Canadian Home Builders' Association national conference.

These nods include St. Thomas' Doug Tarry taking the inaugural Net Zero Home Award.  Lucchetta Homes of Welland won the Community Development Award for their Residences At Hunters Pointe.
