Dear

A massive thank you to everyone who took part in our Olympic competition, we had a record number of entries and it is always great to hear from our readers and Facebook 'likers', but there can only be one winner...

Congratulations to Iain Coull from Angus who brings home the Gold! The mini Olympic torch will be winging its way to you shortly and we are quite sad to see it go!

Of course it wouldn't be an Olympic competition without also awarding a Silver and a Bronze medal so congratulations to Sushilla Lobo from Bournemouth and Dave Harvey from Milton Keynes, some London 2012 Key-rings are on their way to you too.

If you are fed up of hearing about the Olympics I will try to focus on the matter at hand which is of course antiques! With plenty of fab sales listed below you can forget all about the Games and immerse yourself in this week's auctions which include coins, medals, model railways and much more.

P.S. The answer we were looking for was 'Russia'. Click here to view the tea/coffee set which featured in our competition. The set will be sold later today at Capes Dunn & Co.
