 Volunteers Welcome!

Gramatan Village makes it easier for our members to age in place by connecting them to social opportunities, helpful services and educational programs.  But who makes it possible?

Volunteers!

Gramatan Village is experiencing a growing demand for volunteer drivers who can offer our members rides to and from local errands and appointments. Most rides take less than hour.  Our volunteer drivers make a difference!

     It's easy to get involved!

Dear Friends,

Salute to Seniors
Saturday, September 26
10:00 AM

Salute to Seniors is a day-long celebration of our older neighbors co-sponsored by the
Senior Citizens Council and  Gramatan Village with support from  New York Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital and The Bronxville Rotary.

The festivities will begin at 10:00 AM on the front lawn of the Bronxville High School near the flagpole. Mayor Marvin and sponsoring organizations will offer remarks followed by light refreshments.

From 10:45 to 12 noon, a  number of community organizations will have informational tables on Pondfield Road, and many local businesses will offer "Silver" discounts and specials for seniors.

(In the event of inclement weather, these activities will take place in Village Hall.)

At 2:30 PM, the Bronxville Library will welcome the public to the opening reception of the Speeders Art Show featuring the work of artists over 55 years of age. Light refreshments will be served and all attendees can participate in a free raffle!

Salute to Seniors is a great way to learn about community resources and services that support older residents, and is especially valuable for those who may be new to the area or concerned about an aging parent or friend.

We hope to see you there!
For more information:

The community is invited to an informational  Open House.   Join us  whether you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, are curious about what Gramatan Village offers, or are a current member who wishes to make the most of your membership.
