NEW CLASS  with JOHN BERG
Vinyasa Transformation
B egins  Saturday, October 10
 10:30 to Noon
Saturdays in the Studio will be a bit brighter when the incomparable John Berg brings his unique and heart based teaching to Samyama.

Step into the studio, unroll your mat and settle.  Breathe.  The space wraps around you.  It fills you like drips of honeyed nectar.  The air penetrates and warms the bones.  The soft circus of color teases the eyes. Music fills your heart.

Smile.

Sense the gathering energy of the fellowship you helped to build.

And then prepare.

Prepare for the most extraordinarily creative sequencing in the Bay Area.  An odyssey that will move your yoga beyond the physical.  Beyond asana.

Part self-contained journey, part community commitment John's classes ask that you root your practice in the present while acknowledging yoga's continuum and mutability.   His classes offer a spiritual base, meditation as movement and reflection in stillness.  They offer pranayama, humor and joy.  They are strong and challenging, full of sweet soul and sweat.

These are no ordinary yoga classes.  These are practices unlike any you 've experienced.

Are you ready to ascend?
Because John Berg is about
to take your yoga to new heights.

How Well Do You Know
Team Dhama?

We asked Team Dharma to tell us one thing about their lives that would surprise us....

1.  It's not surprising she was Miss Palo Alto, but did you know she's attended the Grammies, Oscars, Emmys and SAG Awards?

2.  Who counts Captains Kathryn Janeway and Jean Luc Picard as personal heroes?

3.  She was a professional card dealer and cocktail waitress. Texas Hold 'Em, anyone?

4.  A decade ago 2005's Burning Man was that much safer with this certified EMT on board.  Who was it?

5.  As a young boy he carried a toy pistol and a telescopic pointer that doubled as a communication device.  Which Team Dharma member wanted to be James Bond when he grew up?

1.  Our amazing Amy Rogg.
2.  The man who carries his balls in a bag, Louis Jackson.
3.  Samyama's Queen of Hearts, Natalie D'onofrio.
4.  The enchanting Lindsay Amrien.
5.  Yes, his name is Berg.  John Berg.  And he likes his yoga shaken, not stirred.
