Leslie Howard: The Pelvic Floor

Proper strengthening and stabilizing of the pelvic floor helps to create the correct foundation of each movement in the body.  This is the true meaning of "core work."   If you experience lower back or pelvic pain, discomfort during sex, if you've given birth or if you leak when laughing or sneezing - this workshop is for you. Reiki I & II Certification Workshops

Are you interested in vibrational healing? This is your opportunity to explore the power of Reiki energy. Reiki I will teach you the basic hand positions and will 'attune' you to Reiki energy. Joanne's Reiki II workshop will introduce you to symbols used in Reiki and the potential of distance healing.

In the Lounge this October:
Mindfulness Meditation & Chair Yoga for Ease and Wellbeing
This six-week course with Joanie Cartal begins Wednesday, October 11th from 6:30-8:30 PM and is designed to introduce mindfulness practices in a simple and clear progression. Included in this class will be a January workshop that integrates the principles of mindfulness in our Yin Yoga practice.
Misako Matsuoka's 7-week series begins Tuesday, October 3 from 10-11 AM. Chair yoga supports yogis who need to take a break from a more active practice. It also effectively supports age related concerns such as balance difficulties, fatigue, muscle weakness, bone density concerns, and those with joint inflammation.
