Prep for ICD-10 Now; Avoid Delays Later
Effective October 1, 2014, the ICD-9-CM code sets will be replaced by ICD-10-CM codes. This transition will cause changes across every aspect of your practice, including increased documentation requirements; code increases from 17,000 to 140,000; updates to vendor and payor contracts; and much more.
SBCMS/CMA has partnered with AAPC, the nation's largest medical training and credentialing association, to offer training at steeply discounted prices for members. The trainings will begin with the "Impact of ICD-10" webinar, offered on October 10 and December 5. The webinar will be presented twice each day from 7:30-9:30 a.m. and 12:45-1:45 p.m. Be on the look out for future in-person classes in your area. |
