It's rare that we have the opportunity to host a special "celebrity" guest like Kirk Cameron. He will be at First Christian on Saturday to lead "Love Worth Fighting For", an event that will encourage your love relationships. Don't take love for granted. Invest time in something that will strengthen you in a fun and practical way. Buy your tickets on line or at the door. Beth & I are making a "date" of it and I hope you will too. Need more info or want to purchase tickets? Click here

This Sunday our JAM Choirs will celebrate two productions involving more than 100 children at 6 PM. A SHOUT OUT to great work by our Children's Directors and Children's Ministry! Last week 70 volunteers made our Preschool VBS a blessing to 2 to 5 year olds, 140 kids!

Our new Sunday message series is WATCH. Repeatedly in God's Word, WATCH means "be alert, aware, fully awake, on guard and intently focused". This theme will carry us through coming special Sundays: Mother's Day 5/14, Recognize Graduates & Family Lunch 5/21, and a Ministry Fair led by deacons 6/4. Let's WATCH and pray while remaining...

Thankful. Hopeful.

Important Financial Update
Will you step up to be faithful in regular, generous giving back to God through offerings to First Christian? Though we have successfully set aside our mortgage escrow goal each month this year, both in May and April we had to borrow internally from our emergency fund to stay on track.

When each member commits to honor God with a tithe, 10% of our weekly income, our church and personal finances will be blessed.  Currently our weekly giving averages $18,659. Our ministry budget is based on weekly averages of $23,000.

Praise God that 36 people have made public decisions for Christ this year, 20 baptisms and 16 new members! Will you step up in your giving, to supply provision for our great ministry vision.

THANK YOU to over 40 families who gave and invested sweat equity to our STAGE ONE Project. Beautiful new flooring, paint, sound improvements, and creative features have reinvented this space.
Graduation Sunday
Sunday, May 21, during 10:30 am service

Are you graduating this year? We will recognize our graduates (high school, college, and graduate) as well as share a video slideshow. If you're graduating, please fill out the form available here. All submissions must be received by Wednesday, May 17 to be included. Contact Keianna at keianna@fccf.org or (314) 837-2269 with questions and photos.
We give out of grateful hearts in recognition that God owns everything, and we are to be faithful stewards of all He entrusts to us.

There are two new and convenient ways to give that allow more of your dollar to go towards ministry work and less to bank fees.

Online Giving - This method allows you to schedule a one-time or recurring gift, which can be charged to your debit card.  Give online quickly and easily via our online church app! Click here to sign up

Mobile Giving - This method allows you to give via the text feature on your phone. Simply open up a new text message, type 84321 in the 'To' column, then type a dollar amount in the text message section. You will receive a reply with easy to follow directions.

Interested in learning more about our new giving options and why we made the switch? Watch the video for more info and step-by-step setup directions.  Video Link
