Auto Tip of the Week:
With regular maintenance modern vehicles can see into 100k miles before any mechanical issues arise. However, be aware of warning signs the engine can give you that should not be ignored.
Any type of squealing sound when starting the car could be an indicator something is wrong with pulleys, the drive belt, or alternator. A "knocking" sound or any sounds that just don't sound "right" should be acted on immediately and taken to a mechanic.
