Beginning Summer Strings Day Camp Registration Now Underway! 

 

The Beginning Orchestra Strings Day Camp is for beginning students interested in violin, viola, and cello.  This camp is GREAT for those students entering a middle or high school orchestra program for the first year.  Meets 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon daily from Monday, July 20th through Friday, July 24, 2015.  Tuition is $110.00

Annual Spring Student Recital Dates 

 
The Music Academy of WNC's Annual Spring Recitals will be held in the recital hall at the Music Academy in Hendersonville on the following dates.

Guitar/Bass/Drums: 
Friday, May 15, 2015 at 6:30 PM

Piano/Voice/Woodwinds/Brass: 
Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM

Orchestral Strings:
Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 4:30 PM



Congratulations To Music Academy Viola Student, Daphne Bickley 
 
 
We are VERY PROUD of Daphne Bickley, viola student of Jan Daugherty , for placing third in the 2015 Young Artist Competition hosted by the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra. The 2015 Young Artist Competition Awards was presented Saturday, May 2nd at the Symphony's final concert of the season at Blue Ridge Community College. Daphne is also a member of the Music Academy's Academy String Quartet.   CONGRATULATIONS Daphne!!!

The Music Academy of Western North Carolina has established a Scholarship Fund for students in need of financial assistance.   This scholarship program funds tuition for private lessons, ensembles, summer camps, and music workshops for students that would not be able to participate.
