Empire Safety Council Defensive Driving
Monday, July 17th AND 24th from 5:45-8:45PM
This course is designed for all licensed and insured drivers. The fee is $38 for drivers up to age 60 and $33 for drivers ages 60 and older. A non-refundable check payable to Empire Safety Council is due at time of registration. Cash is not accepted. This is part one of a two part class. You must attend both classes to receive the discount on your insurance.

Meet Afghan American author and pediatrician Dr. Nadia Hashimi. Dr. Hashimi is the author of the international bestseller The Pearl that Broke Its Shell, When the Moon is Low  and A House Without Windows . Copies of The Pearl that Broke its Shell  will be available for purchase from Friends of the Gold Coast Library for the author to sign.

Come to the library and Leslie Sattler from Green Earth Craft will teach you how to make homemade home decor that will then be donated to be put in a veteran's new home. All participants will receive one hour of community service.

STEM for Tweens: Ozobots

Ozobots are small robots that help kids learn about simple code language and deductive reasoning while empowering learners to play, create and connect the physical and digital worlds.

Build a Better World Imagination Playground

Unstructured child directed play is a critical component of a healthy social, emotional and intellectual development. Imagination Playground kids literally make their own open-ended fun. There's no wrong way to play with them.
