You know the drill people. You show up, pour yourself some hot spiced cider, grab an artist-made snack and start collecting gorgeous, affordable prints from the walls while we attempt to keep up with the mass buying frenzy . We have new work and new artists, so prepare to be inspired. Bring your parents and children and friends. It's basically the hottest new spot on Western Avenue just north of the Lincoln/Western split in Lincoln Square . Looking forward to seeing you at our oasis of originality...!

AND...
Check out this awesome article by Patty Wetli in last week's DNAinfo Chicago about the transformation of our printshop and what it looked like beforehand. She also put together a nifty little slideshow:

CLASSES JUST ANNOUNCED!

Etching, Lithography, Relief, Screenprinting, Gelli Printing and Intro to Printmaking:

The CPC community is grateful to everyone who attended our GRAND REopening party last month, and to 40th Ward Alderman Patrick O'Connor for stopping by to crank a ceremonial first print through the etching press! Special thanks goes out to 40th ward staff assistant Rita Howard for helping us with city permits, Joe Lewis from SomerCor who helped us with the SBIF funding that made this all possible, and to Architects Michael Silver (InSite Architecture) and Pete Nicholas (Nicholas Design Collaborative) who made all this even more possible. Major gratitude to the fellas who built, electrified, sanded, plumbed, hauled, heated, cooled, lit, painted and waterproofed. When you're happily making prints under the skylights, these are the folks you should give a nod to....
