TIME: 8pm-9pm
LOCATION: 765 Mass Ave, Life Alive's Chakra Lounge

On Tuesday, May 17th from 8 to 9pm you are welcome to Life Alive Cambridge's chakra lounge to meet and speak with Virginia Peck, the artist behind the exquisite buddha prints that grace our walls.
She will be sharing her inspirations and process with us!

"Innocence" by Virginia Peck
Since 2008, Virginia's Buddhas have hung in scores of exhibits throughout the northeastern U.S.  In addition to dozens of Yoga studios, the exhibit has appeared at Kripalu in Lenox, at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, at Harvard University's Andover Chapel, and at Gallery 1581 in Brookline, owned by the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis.  In early 2011, Faces of Buddha Press extended its reach by launching a national exhibition initiative, with the first distant shows taking place in Birmingham Hills, MI and Santa Fe, NM.

The Faces of Buddha images can be ordered as prints on canvas or paper.  Limited-edition canvas prints start at $165; prints on paper start at $95.  The artist has also published Faces of Buddha greeting cards, $4.50 each, six for $25.  They will be available for purchase at Life Alive the evening of Virginia's reception, May 17.

We hope you can join us and meet this immensely talented, warm-hearted, and interesting artist.
