Thanks to Dwight Price for 21 Great Years!
October 2017

The Board of Governors commends Dwight for his leadership and thanks him for his service to EAP and the electrical industry.  As we bid him farewell and wish him a relaxing retirement, we also welcome our new Executive Director, Sarah Hagy, who will assume this important role for The EAP as of November 1.  Read more to learn more about Dwight's departure and Sarah's background.
An "Open Letter" to our Members
It has been a great honor to serve as your EAP Executive Director for the last 21 years.  But as I turn 65 years of age, I realize it is time to move on to the "next chapter" of my life.
I will never forget those of you who I have met and gotten to know personally.  We have a great group of people involved in the EAP.  I hope you keep learning from each other, and continue to enjoy the camaraderie the Association offers.
It is my pleasure to report that you will be in good hands going forward.  The Executive Committee has hired Sarah Hagy, an experienced association management professional, to be your new Executive Director.  We will work together in transition through the end of October.  This is good timing, because she will no doubt assist in making our Electric Expo 2017 on October 25 & 26 a great success.
I am filled with gratitude for your trust in me over these many years.  Thank you for your support and friendship.  And thank you for your participation in The Electrical Association of Philadelphia.

EAP Welcomes Sarah Hagy!
We are pleased to introduce Sarah Hagy, CAE, who will be assuming the role of Executive Director of the Electrical Association of Philadelphia.  Sarah began her career in association management over a decade ago at the nation's first association management company.  Growing quickly into the role of executive director, Sarah was
responsible for leading numerous trade associations representing industries such as waterworks supply, vehicle leasing, horticultural supply, commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and even the ice cream distribution industry! Sarah's impressive work history and gracious demeanor made her the obvious choice to be EAP's new Executive Director.
Over the next few weeks, Sarah will work closely with Dwight, Mair and Arielle as the EAP prepares for the Electric Expo 2017.  After that period of transition, we are certain we will be in capable hands as the EAP begins its next chapter under Sarah's leadership.  Please join us in welcoming Sarah and don't hesitate to contact her directly via email at or by phone at 610-825-1600 ext. 11.
