The Schechter Network is re-imagining the ways in which we can support our schools to ensure you have access to outstanding professional development. In this newsletter you will learn more about the programs we are offering for professional development as well as funding the Network has secured to subsidize intensive professional development for school leaders in focused areas, like admissions. We are thrilled to be able to offer Schechter schools a significant subsidy to attend PEJE's Recruitment and Retention Academy. This program is unique in its focus on mobilizing, educating and supporting Day School teams with coaching.  APPLY TODAY  as space is very limited.

Over 300 people have already registered for iJED2014 and we are looking forward to an incredible learning experience. If you haven't yet registered, don't delay as registration closes on February 4th.

We hope you will be joining us as we honor Dr. Elaine Cohen, who is retiring after an 11 year career of valued service. It is our honor to mark this transitional moment at this year's iJED2014 conference during our Schechter Network time on Monday, March 3rd at 12:30pm. We are so deeply appreciative of her leadership of the Schechter Network and look forward to this opportunity to acknowledge  her commitment and dedication to Schechter schools  and the field of Jewish education

At this ceremony we will be presenting her with a scrapbook. We know she would treasure your being a part of this project. Please submit any pictures, memories, greetings and well-wishes to Fran Urman, Scrapbook Project Coordinator at frurman@jtsa.edu. Additionally, if you have a digital video greeting to include in a slideshow (around 15 seconds long) that we will have running during the program, please email submissions to Rabbi Jim Rogozen at rogozen@uscj.org.

We are committed to listening, and would love to hear from you, so please be in touch!
