Letters to Vietnam Veterans on Honor Flight
Readfield and Sugar Bush Elementary Students
Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Bressler's students wrote notes to two Vietnam Veterans on an Old Glory Honor Flight. Veterans receive letters, cards, pictures, etc., from family and friends on their flight home. The students didn't personally know the two veterans, but they learned that neither veteran had any family to receive mail from on their flight home.  The students enjoyed taking patriotic pictures and writing kind words to the veterans to thank them for their service.
