The School of Alberta Ballet Announces Extensive Boys' Scholarship Program


 
 
Artistic Director Edmund Stripe is pleased to officially announce The School of Alberta Ballet's Boys' Scholarship Program. Designed to attract outstanding international and local talent, the program offers two extraordinary opportunities for aspiring male dancers:
 

Up to 25 Full Tuition Scholarships Offered  to Talented Male Dancers Age 9 and Up 

 

Outstanding male dancers age 9 and up are invited to audition for The School of Alberta Ballet's Professional Division. Up to 25 full-tuition scholarships will be awarded each year, giving aspiring dancers the extraordinary opportunity to train full-time as well as receive their academic education at the Official Training Centre of Alberta Ballet.

 

Under the artistic leadership of Edmund Stripe, The School of Alberta Ballet's Professional Division provides ballet training for ages 9 and up, an onsite Academic School accredited by Alberta Education for grades 7-12, a Residence, and a post-secondary option. While we accept video auditions, we encourage all aspiring male dancers to attend an upcoming audition:

Boys Only Preschool Classes in Edmonton and Calgary   

 

To engage a new generation of male dancers, The School of Alberta Ballet is delighted to offer preschool boys an opportunity to attend our Open Division for only $80.00 per year. Boys ages 3-5 can attend classes that will cater to their high energy and learning style while giving them a chance to train with world-class teachers.  

 

Registration opens April 1 for returning students and April 15 for new students. Further information can be found on our Calgary Studio and Edmonton Studio webpages.
