Introduction to Excel  
This five-week course is designed for individuals new to Microsoft Excel. Participants will create a personal budget and other spreadsheets while learning ribbon tabs and program commands.


Introduction to PowerPoint   
This five-week course is designed for individuals new to Microsoft PowerPoint. While learning ribbon tabs and commands, participants will create a slide presentation to present to classmates. 


Introduction to FDA Regulations 
This course introduces the regulations governing the life science industry with emphasis on those that impact medical device development and manufacturing.  A thorough understanding of FDA regulations and an overview of equivalent international regulations will be covered.


Positive Psychology (Online Certificate)
Positive Psychology emphasizes the study of human strengths, positive emotions and well-being. This program provides information about research in positive psychology that can be applied to professional work settings as well as personal life. Students will be trained on evidence-based interventions designed to enhance well-being, resilience, post-traumatic growth, forgiveness of others, mindfulness, realistic optimism, self-forgiveness, self-respect, positive behavior and workplace satisfaction. 

The Positive Psychology Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of five out of 10 courses.


SLR Photography Basics  
Discover how to operate any SLR (Single Lens Reflex) digital camera. Learn to work with shutter speed, aperture and ISO, and when, where and why to use settings and adjustments on the camera including program, exposure and focus modes. (A special emphasis is given to portrait photography.) No experience necessary!


SLR Photography: Beyond Basics 
Experiment with photography through capturing photographs alongside a professional photographer. Hands-on workshops incorporate landscape, night, motion and studio lighting/portrait photography. 

Substitute Teacher Workshop
This three-hour workshop trains current substitute teachers and those who desire to be substitutes with best teaching practices and strategies.
