A special evening for wine and science lovers

Wine lovers, foodies and science enthusiasts will all enjoy the Fleet's 2017 annual fundraiser event, Uncorking the Mysteries of Wine. The evening will feature food and wine pairings with wine expert Gary Parker of The WineSellar & Brasserie and culinary guru Andrew Spurgin, plus a wine auction and entertaining science demos. All proceeds will directly support the Fleet's mission of creating a San Diego where people of all ages can be inspired by the power and possibilities of science.

BALBOA PARK AFTER DARK

Starting later this month, the Fleet and other participating museums in Balboa Park will stay open late on Friday nights. Balboa Park After Dark will feature live entertainment, food trucks and at least eight different museums staying open until 8 p.m. The Fleet may announce even later Friday hours once we open our big summer exhibition, Game Masters. Stay tuned!

SCIENCE AND BREWS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Every month the Fleet's Suds & Science program sends a scientist out to a local watering hole to share what they know and bring people together for conversation. The next event explores neural diseases and new research on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Future events will discuss colonizing Mars and the oldest stars in the universe. Come join us for a brew and learn about science!
The Fleet Science Center is a nonprofit organization that seeks to inspire lifelong learning by furthering the public understanding and enjoyment of science and technology.
