This event for Boy Scouts and Ventures is a lock-in style event featuring Climbing and Cope activities as well as games, movies, and a pizza party. Each participant will receive a headlamp and patch.

Proceeds from each ticket sale will go back to the Boy Scouts. All scouts will receive a Knicks Scout Patch with their ticket

Scouts are awarded Medal of Merit
for Life Saving Actions

Congratulations to Troop 132 Scout Matt D. for earning the Medal of Merit for performing the Heimlich Maneuver and saving his sister from choking on a piece of food.
  When Jayden J. and Ty’zia J. went for a swim in a local pool this past summer, little did the two Scouts know that they would have to draw on their Scouting skills to save a boy from drowning. - ScoutingNewsroom

The Scouts visited New Lab at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Queens "People of the Week" on NY1

NY1's latest Queens People of the Week are doing all they can to inspire, mentor, and guide young Rockaway residents into bright futures. Lisa Johnson-Cooper is a true believer in the saying "children are our future." "Giving back to children, this is my life calling," said Lisa Johnson-Cooper, NY1's Queens Person of the Week and leader of P.S./M.S. 183 Q Cub Scouts.
