ATLANTA AREA SCOUTING
Your Guide to the Best Activities, Events, & Training for Your Scouts
Since 1916, the Atlanta Area Council has been here as the foundation behind every Scouting experience in metro-Atlanta.  For 100 years, the Atlanta Area Council has been developing leaders; making an impact one Scout at a time.
Our alumni includes Martin Luther King, Jr., a Scout at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Our supporters and advocates include baseball legend Hank Aaron, former President Jimmy Carter and former UN Ambassador Andrew Young and countless leaders in civics, business, education and communities of faith.
As a leader in the Atlanta Area Council, we hope that you will join in our celebration by participating in one of our marquee events.
  • Conduct a Scout Sunday or Sabbath at your place of worship in February
  • Boy Scouts and Venturers; attend our Campout 100 at Bert Adams Scout Camp in March
  • Participate in our month of service by conducting a service project of your choice in April
  • Fulfill the promise of Scouting by attending summer camp at Bert Adams or Woodruff Scout Camps

As we look to a new century of Scouting achievements for metro-Atlanta, the Atlanta Area Council re-commits ourselves to Scouting's time-honored ideals of leadership, achievement, character, service, and fun.  Thank you for being a part of our next century of Scouting in metro-Atlanta!   Please enjoy our anniversary video  to kick-off our celebration.
