Scout News: October 27
BALOO Training: Next Saturday, 11/5 - Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation teaches Cub Scout camping policies and gives the necessary tools to help Packs carry out a successful camping experience. At least one adult on your Pack over-nighter must be BALOO trained.

Over 700 people attended the Cub BOO Ree! See photos here of swimming, dodgeball, nerf guns, sling shots, pumpkins, jenga, chess, soccer, relays, costumes, movie night and more!

Sunday, November 20 - 8am-noon. Our council's honor-Scout group, the Tribe of Tahquitz, is holding their annual pancake breakfast. Tickets at the door or online here. Contact Chief Ben Steidl for more info.  
Scout Shop

Ornaments, patches, and t-shirts galore. The Long Beach Scout Shop is stocked with holiday themed items. New flashlights, cool knives, gizmos, gadgets, and more for the gear-head in your family.

November 12 - Collection day only two weeks away. Reserve your area if you haven't already. Every year, Scouts in our council help collect over 25,000 pounds of food for local pantries. More collection info here

Friday, November 25 - Walk off the turkey and mashed potatoes with a leisurely hike around town. An annual favorite, this year we will be visiting places of worship in East Long Beach. Info here. Open to all ages.

December 2-4 - Cold-weather camping basics at Camp Tahquitz! Patrol based competitions, fun, games, team building, applying Scout Skills. Events include Coyote Bait, Survivorish, and Take That Yeti! Info Guide here.
