Roundtable - Stay informed
Roundtable - Thursday September 14

Join us for our great night of Scouting at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church (7127 Bee Caves Road). Fellowship begins at 6:45 PM; our program starts at 7:00 PM sharp, and ends by 8:00 PM.

Ultralight Camping: we are going to have a special joint session to highlight ultralight camping ! We'll have all sorts of the neatest stuff on hand to check out, and real-life experts to share their tips. For leaders from ANY Scouting program, this should be a great time to either improve your current outdoor activity planning, or look ahead to what's coming as you move from Cub Scouting, to Boy Scouting and high adventure!

Unit Recharter Leaders: calling all "URL's" - it's Charter Renewal Time! This is the big kickoff for this year's adventure in making your roster, checking it twice, and getting everything signed and turned in by November 30! The Internet Recharter Window opens on October 1, so don't miss this Roundtable!

Webelos Woods Planning: Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs: please send your Webelos leaders and Webelos recruiters to Roundtable this month. Enjoy some fellowship time, and find out what's in store at Webelos Woods.

Cub Scout Leaders: be sure all your Webelos Scouts and parents have this date penciled in on their calendar. This annual event is the easiest way for all our Webelos Scouts to check out the Boy Scout Troops in our District in one Scoutcraft-filled event! It's time to find out what youth-led adventure really means for the boys, and for Webelos parents to hobnob, nosh and visit with Troop leadership to help their son find the "right" Troop for them.
